Man arrested after firing gun at vehicle
No one was hurt after gunshots were fired at a vehicle on Barton Road in Pocatello at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday.
Pocatello Police arrested William Karyim Hammond, 33, on charges of discharging a firearm at a house or vehicle.
According to reports, Hammond discharged a 9 mm handgun twice at another motorist. The other vehicle was struck once, but no one was hurt. Police don’t know why shots were fired.
Hammond was taken into custody shortly after the incident in the 200 block of Yellowstone.
No further details have been released as investigation continues.
