Jackson Council approves 168 unit housing development
A new Planned Unit Development promises to build 168 new residential units at 60 Rosencrans in Jackson. The development, called Hidden Hollow, includes single, townhouse and multi-family units. The Jackson Town Council approved the development and a sketch plan for the property during council meetings Monday night.
“This is obviously a huge development for (the) town,” said Vice Mayor Hailey Morton Levinson. “I think that this is going to be a legacy piece.” The project will include an extension to Mercill Avenue that would eventually become a public street, although it would be private where the extension enters the majority of the site. A 10-foot wide public multi-use pathway is proposed from North Cache through the site connecting to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife property in the northwest corner. Affordable housing will be provided onsite in 5 condominium/apartment buildings.
