Heavy snowfall prompts early closures and game cancellations across the area
Update 3:56 pm: Several High School basketball games scheduled for tonight have been canceled because of the snow and dangerous roads.

The Festival of Lights at Freeman Park in Idaho Falls will also be closed Friday night.
Original Story: Monticello Montessori school will release students 30 minutes early at 2:45 p.m.
Fort Hall tribal government offices were closed at Noon Friday. Indian Health Service Community Health Clinic will remain open until 5 p.m. unless road conditions deteriorate.
West Jefferson School District sent students home at 1 p.m. from all schools in the district. Students at Hamer Elementary were sent home at 12:30 p.m.
Earlier Friday morning students were sent home from North Fremont High School and Elementary School.
Taylor’s Crossing Charter School will also be closing at 12:30 p.m.
