Local Girl Scouts kick-off cookie sales
Girl Scout cookie season is officially underway.
Several Girl Scouts gather Thursday night for a kick-off at the Red Lion hotel in Pocatello. This year, Girls Scouts of America are celebrating 100 years of selling cookies.
To celebrate the milestone, the scouts rolled out a new cookie flavor of “S’mores”
“You usually have s’mores around a campfire and the girl scouts are going to go back to camping. this cookie is unique in a way that its actually a g.m.o. product, so its a clean cookie. So the cookie that had to make room for “s’mores” was the “thank you berry much,” said Autumn Mondragon, a leader with the Girl Scouts.
