One injured in roll over crash that blocked I-15 lanes

Idaho State Police are investigating a single vehicle rollover crash that blocked northbound lanes south of Blackfoot for 15 minutes Friday afternoon.

According to ISP, 27-year-old Sylvia Ofori, of Pocatello, ID, was driving northbound on I-15 in a 2003 Hyundai Sonata when another vehicle changed lanes towards Ofori’s vehicle. To avoid hitting the car Ofori drove off the left shoulder but her car continued through the median and rolled. Ofori was wearing a seatbelt.

Ofori was transported by ground ambulance to the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID.

The investigation of the crash is ongoing.
