McCann out as Idaho State wide receivers coach

The Idaho State Athletic Department confirmed that wide receivers coach Pat McCann has taken a job at another university.

McCann was named the wide receivers coach on March 28 and was in Pocatello for two days before leaving.

Changes to the coaching staff are something the Idaho State Football team is used to at this point. In January, the Idaho State Athletic Department announced that offensive coordinator Matt Troxel took a job at The University of Montana. On March 28, ISU announced that offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Rob Phenicie also took a job at a different university. Two days later, Phenicie was announced as the head coach of the Bengals football program, replacing Mike Kramer who was retiring effective immediately.

Spring practice starts for the Bengals on April 6.
