Heavy rains and strong winds can be expected for Friday and into the weekend with dropping snow levels. Thursday, high clouds with milky sunshine and warmer! Highs into the mid 60’s for the Snake River Plain. Winds picking up just a bit from 15-25mph out of the south and west.

Tonight, overcast with a few sprinkles across the Central Mountains. Breezy with southwest winds from 15-25mph. Lows staying into the 40’s.

Friday, a 100% chance of showers and heavier downpours developing throughout the day with an isolated thunderstorm or two. Overcast, with a high near 58°. Saturday, Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mountain snow above 6500 feet. Cloudy, with a high near 49°. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Sunday, scattered rain and snow showers. Partly sunny and colder, with highs into the mid to upper 40’s.
