A cold front is moving in for the weekend, with dropping temps and scattered showers. Also, expect gusty winds the entire weekend.

Saturday, Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mountain snow above 6500 feet. Slight chance of snow in the Snake River Plain. Cloudy, with highs into the upper 40’s. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Saturday night, look for scattered rain showers before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Some thunderstorms are also possible. Lows back into the mid 30’s. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 30 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

Sunday, A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with highs into the mid 40’s. Southwest winds 20 to 35 mph. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible..

Monday Mostly sunny, with a high near 50°.
