Man arrested for drug trafficking during traffic stop

Idaho State Police have arrested a North Dakota man for drug trafficking after he was pulled over on a traffic stop near Roberts Saturday night.

ISP has arrested Michael J. Wrobel of Wildrose, North Dakota for trafficking methamphetamine and possession of heroin.

At about 7:11 p.m. Saturday and ISP trooper pulled Wrobel over at milepost 130 near Roberts. During the investigation a drug-detecting K9 was deployed and it alerted on drugs in the vehicle. Troopers conducted a search and found a half a pound of methamphetamine and a personal-use amount of heroin.

The drugs have an estimated street value of $6,000-8,000.
