Woman arrested for aggravated assault after pointing pellet gun

Pocatello Police arrested a woman Thursday morning around 10:00 a.m. after pointing a handgun at someone.

According to reports, Mary Margaret Rose, 55, pointed a handgun at a resident on the 1300 block of Kinghorn. Rose took off in a vehicle before officers showed up. Idaho State Police later found Rose when they stopped her on I-86 at 1:00 p.m. Police found a black pellet gun that matched the description the victim gave.

Police do not have a motive nor do they know the relationship between Rose and the victim. The victim believe the gun was real at the time of the incident.

Rose faces charges of aggravated assault.
