Angel Moroni statue to be reinstalled Wednesday

After being removed for cleaning and restoration on April 5th, the iconic Angel Moroni statue will be reinstalled on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint’s Idaho Falls Temple on Wednesday morning.

An exact time for when the statue will be installed as not been given but it will likely take place at around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. The public is welcome to come watch but should keep their distance from the crane and building structure.

The statue was removed to be restored as part of the overall restoration and renovation efforts that have been going on that the Idaho Falls Temple for the last few years.

The temple is scheduled to hold an open house to show of the restoration and remodeling efforts later this month and will then be rededicated on June 4.
