Our next significant round of rain arrives late this afternoon and into Friday. Most of the rain and snow showers will hold-off until Thursday evening. Another storm arrives early next week. Thursday, starting out rather nice with quite a bit of sunshine and quickly warming temps near 60°. An approaching cold front will increase winds and bring in showers and mountain snow as we head into the evening and overnight hours. Chance of rain 80%.

Tonight, overcast and wet with periods of snow for the high country and showers over the Snake River Plain. Lows dropping into the low 30’s. Windy with gusts occasionally above 40mph. Chance of precip 80%.

Friday, scattered rain and snow showers with several inches of snow possible up into the mountains. Snow levels dropping to valley floors as much colder air filters in. Highs struggling to get out of the 30’s and 40’s. Chance of precip 70%. Saturday and Sunday, partly cloudy with highs into the mid 50’s.
