Detailed Forecast for April 14, 2017

Moisture lingers behind our cold front giving us sporadic rain and snow showers for Friday. Clearing will take place overnight and pave the way for an incredible Easter weekend. Clouds will begin to return Sunday evening as our next storm pushes through early next week. Friday, scattered rain and snow showers with 2-4 inches of snow possible up into the mountains. Snow levels dropping to valley floors as much colder air filters in. Highs struggling to get out of the 30’s and 40’s. Chance of precip 60%.

Tonight, clearing skies with much cooler temps. Lows falling down into the 10’s and 20’s with gusty winds early on and then simmering down during the wee hours of the morning.

Saturday, mostly sunny skies with a few passing clouds. Highs will be into the upper 40’s and lower 50’s. Winds will be light and variable.

Easter Sunday, sunny skies during the morning and early afternoon before clouds start to stream in throughout the evening. Highs getting warmer with temp climbing into the 50’s and 60’s.

Monday, A 40% chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60°
