Two construction projects will impact traffic starting Monday

A water service replacement project on 17th Street between Holmes Avenue and Hitt Road begins Monday, April 17th.

During the work, which is expected to take about 2 months, the public is encouraged to use alternate routes. Traffic through the area may be reduced to a single lane on weekdays, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Full road closures may be necessary from 11:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. on weekdays and all day on Sundays.

Barring unforeseen conditions, the anticipated completion time is early to mid-June.

Another road closure will begin Tuesday on Telford Road between Ammon Road and Crowley Road. The sewer line construction project is expected to continue through Friday, April 21. Excavation will be underway for a sewer line that will serve a new business in the area.
