Power out for 1,300 customers in Rigby and Ririe

Update: Rocky Mountain Power now estimates that efforts to restore power to Rigby and Ririe customers should be complete by 6:30 p.m.

Original Story: Rocky Mountain Power is working to restore power to 1,368 customers in Rigby and Ririe after a transmission interruption. This is the second major outage of the day for Rocky Mountain Power

Crews are on site at the source of the problem and expect power to be restored by 4 p.m.

Rocky Mountain Power has not released details yet on what caused the outage or the outage earlier today.
