Electrical line found energizing a house in Idaho Falls
The Idaho Falls Fire Department was called to a house Monday where a n electrical line was found energizing a house on Lincoln Road.
Firefighters were seen going to the back of the house.
Barricades blocked traffic about a block away because the street began to get busy.
The Idaho Falls battalion chief said they saw a cable line that was attached to the house that was glowing.
“The residence was having problems with their cable television and when the cable TV company showed up, they found the electrical problem with the house and that’s when they noticed the arcing in the energized house and we responded with the power company,” Lance Johnson said.
No injuries were reported.
