Rain continues today with more to come this week
April showers are really coming to fruition in Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming.
We can blame it on the jet stream which is streaming in an atmospheric river of sorts onto the west coast and into the Northern Rockies.
Storm after storm are lined up ready to bring in another deluge of moisture, from not only torrential downpours and steady showers, but heavy mountain snow as well. Check here for latest radar.

Yesterday alone was a soaker. With many locations along the I-15 corridor picking up over a quarter to a half inch of rain. With more rain and snow on the way, flooding could become a serious issue once again.
The Portneuf River near Pocatello, the Bear River near Montpelier and the Snake River at Blackfoot are going to be of most concern, as all are approaching minor flood stage or greater.
This is the time to prepare and monitor nearby creeks and streams for any rapid rises or changes. Be sure to contact local law enforcement immediately if you feel threatened or unsafe due to rising water.
