Detailed Forecast for June 2, 2017

Warmer and drier weather is moving into Eastern Idaho for the foreseeable future as another ridge of high pressure moves in for the weekend. A weak trough will drop temperatures for Monday, but conditions should still remain dry. Long term models suggest another ridge building for mid-week. Flooding concerns will but a substantial issue with the warming temperatures. Friday: mostly sunny with highs into the upper 70’s. Saturday, sunny with highs into the mid 80’s. Sunday, sunny with highs in the high 80’s. Monday, scattered mountain thunderstorms, otherwise partly cloudy with highs into the mid 70’s for the Snake River Plain.
