High school prank catches attention of local law enforcement.
An end-of-school-year prank at one local high school, sent some students to the office needing treatment.
A small group of students at Hillcrest High School in Ammon was caught Thursday putting pepper extract sauce, which is similar to pepper spray, on door handles and bathroom stalls.
Some students who came in contact with the sauce required treatment. School administrators said those students were treated by the school’s Code Team and teachers. Parents and guardians were contacted. Students said they saw some students in tears with rashes, holding cold packs to their red faces.
Currently, the school administration and law enforcement are working with the students who were affected and those who organized the prank. School administration said that if you know of a student who was affected, but did not go to the office for help, you should contact Deputy Martin at the school. The number is 208-525-4429.
