Community gathers for ‘Breakfast with the Governor’ at ISU

On Thursday, Governor Butch Otter was in Pocatello for a mid year state of the state address. Community members bought tickets and headed to Idaho State University to listen to Governor Otter speak about everything from education to the high snow pack levels in Idaho.

Governor Otter also talked about the upcoming election.

“I’m supporting Brad Little and I told Brad I can be for you or against you, whichever you think will help the most,” Governor Otter laughed. “I want him to be the next governor, I don’t know, myself included, anybody that has been more prepared to be governor,” he added.

Governor Otter said that he is not sure what lies ahead for him and his wife, after his term is over. However, he said they have lots of options and were thinking about going on a mission trip with their church.
