UPDATE: 6-16 10:25 a.m. Idaho Falls Police are investigating eight cases of windshield or rear window vandalism in the John Adams Parkway vicinity. Original Story:
Many people living along John Adams Parkway in Idaho Falls awoke to broken windshields Thursday morning.
One homeowner said she didn’t know about it until an Idaho Falls police officer knocked on her door and told her she was the sixth one with damage that he had found so far.
“I was scared and I was shocked, you know? I’m from this area and I thought this was a safe neighborhood. I still think it is. I just don’t think that the people that do things like this are safe,” said Sonja Marcum.
It’s not known how many windshields are damaged at this point. The officer told this homeowner that the damage is all on John Adams Parkway and stretches from near Idaho Falls High School all the way east to Hitt Road. It appears the vandals only targeted trucks.
