Detailed Forecast for June 19, 2017

A ridge of high pressure is building over the region for Monday, driving up temperatures into the 80s today and 90s tomorrow. However, as the ridge moves off to the east and breaks down tomorrow, there is an excellent chance for mountain thunderstorms tomorrow. Some of these may drift over the valleys as well, with the best chance being north of Rexburg towards the Divide. Comfortable temperatures for the remainder of the week. Today: Sunny with highs in the mid 80s. Tonight: Mostly clear with lows near 50. Tuesday: Hot with temperatures in the low 90s and a chance of showers, especially in the mountains. Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 80s. Thursday: Mostly sunny, with highs in the high 70’s and low 80’s.
