“Mary Poppins” ticket alert

“Mary Poppins” is a popular musical a lot of people want to see. But a warning – if you Google where to get tickets for this Sounds Summer Musical production, it may take you to a ticket reseller site that sells the tickets for more than $200.

If you go to the Idaho Falls Arts Council site, you’ll see the price is just $12.

Cast members say you’ll see a great musical for that reasonable price.

“It’s only $12 a person and $45 for a family. The set is gorgeous. Mary flies, Bert dances over rooftops. It’s only 12 dollars,” said Matt Larsen who play Bert.

“If you liked the movie, I think the Broadway version is even better.” said Becky Bryan who plays Mary Poppins. “The music is gorgeous. the story is deep and about the family, and it takes it to a whole new level.”

“Mary Poppins” is being performed June 22,23,24 and 26 at 7:30 at the Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium. Tickets are available at idahofallsarts.org.
