Idaho lottery player picks million-dollar ticket
One Idaho Lottery player is an apparent million-dollar winner in the Saturday night drawing. The Idaho Lottery confirms one winning ticket was sold in Idaho that matched all five of the first numbers drawing. The winning numbers were 19,42, 45, 48, and 53 and the Powerball number was 16. The Powerball jackpot was estimated at $109.4 million and the five-number draw is worth $1 million. “We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball for last night’s draw to check their tickets carefully for winners,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Too often we see players not match the Powerball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers and is worth $1 million.” The winner has 180 days to claim their prize from Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise. In addition to the million-dollar winner, there were over 5,200 smaller, winning Powerball tickets Saturday. There was no winner of the nationwide jackpot, so the estimated jackpot for the Wednesday night drawing is now $121 million.
