Weather update for July 4th & 5th
It is going to get hot!
Expect very warm temperatures for the next week, with highs above 90 for the foreseeable future. We could see a few thunderstorms over higher terrain areas on Tuesday, especially near the Utah border, towards the Magic Valley. By Wednesday and Thursday, the Snake Plain can expect to see temperatures get close to 100 degrees, though a better chance of thunderstorms is expected from Wed-Sun with an increase in monsoonal moisture over the area.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 90’s with a chance of thunderstorms, especially in the mountains.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, highs in mid to upper 90’s.
Friday: Mostly sunny, highs in the mid to upper 90’s.
