Jeff Thompson to run for Idaho Falls Mayor
A state representative will be joining the race to run for mayor of Idaho Falls.
Jeff Thompson held a banner in the 4th of July parade this week.
He currently serves as a representative for District 30.
Thompson is the Chair of the House Environment, Energy and Technology Committee.
He also serves on the Business and Revenue and Taxation Committees.
The only other person to announce their bid for Mayor is current city councilwoman Barbara Ehardt.
Thomson is expected to make a formal announcement soon.
