One-vehicle rollover on I-15 injures two

Idaho State Police said a 2004 Ford Freestar van was northbound at milepost 143 Interstate 15, near the Sage Junction Port of Entry, when the rear passenger tire blew out. The driver, 31-year-old William Graves-Boyle of Butte, Montana lost control and the van rolled onto the right shoulder of the interstate. Graves-Boyle and a juvenile passenger were not injured. Two passengers,26-year-old Whitley Rautio and 28-year-old Tiffany Rautio both of Butte, were injured. Tiffany was transported by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Whitlley was transported by ground ambulance. Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center said Tiffany Rautio was treated and released. Whitley Rautio was listed in good condition Thursday morning. Both lanes of the interstate were blocked for about 20 minutes to clear a path for the air ambulance. The crash is under investigation.
UPDATE 6:55 p.m. – Idaho State Police is investigating a one-vehicle rollover involving three adults and one minor.
One adult passenger in the rear seat had to be extracted and flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center by helicopter, and another adult passenger was taken to EIRMC by ambulance.
One of I-15’s northbound lanes is open, and both southbound lanes are open.
