Idaho man dies after tractor rolls over him

Authorities say a west-central Idaho man has died after a farm tractor ran over him.

Washington County Sheriff Matt Thomas tells KTVB-TV 69-year-old Lynn Evans of Weiser died July 4.

Thomas says Evans had just put a new motor in the tractor in his repair shop when it apparently slipped into gear and ran over him.

Thomas says a family member called 911 but Evans died at the scene.
