Zoo Idaho wants your feedback on its 20 year master plan
Zoo Idaho is asking the public for their input on its 20-year master plan. The plan includes information on some of the new exhibits and renovations they hope to make over the course of the next 20 years.
“We are working on our new elk exhibit and when you look at the master plan this is only half of the exhibit,” commented Zoo Idaho director, Peter Pruett, when asked about some of the construction going on at the zoo.
Some of the other plans include, adding a bison and prong horn exhibit, a gift shop and possibly even a new raptor exhibit. But despite all of their plans, they want to make sure the public is included in making some of these decisions.
“We want our community, Pocatello to have an opportunity to give us some of their thoughts and feedback on the master plan. I am not the one who is going to come and buy admission and walk through the zoo. I work here, I come here every single day,” added Pruett.
So the next time you head to Zoo Idaho, think about what changes You would like to see.
