Bridger-Teton National Forest temporarily closed as officials search for triple homicide suspect
The Bridger-Teton National Forest has issued a temporary area closure after an abandoned vehicle registered to a deceased homicide victim was located on the Pacific Creek campground on the Bridger-Teton National Forest near Moran, Wyoming.
Effective immediately, Pacific Creek campground is closed.
The Lava Creek, Box Creek and Clear creek Trails and all of the area around Enos Lake in the Teton Wilderness Area are closed for the duration of this search.
The road closure on the Pacific Creek Road begins at the Forest boundary.
A number of law enforcement agencies are using cadaver and live-search dogs to search for 60-year-old Gerald “Mike” Bullinger.
The Teton County Sheriff’s Office requests any individuals who camped at the Pacific Creek Campground in the Bridger-Teton National Forest between the dates of June 1, 2017 and July 17, 2017 contact the Sheriff’s Office at 307-733-2331.
