Wyoming police search home in 2006 death of Colorado man

Police in southwest Wyoming say new information has led them to search a home for evidence connected to the unsolved 2006 death of a Colorado hitchhiker.

The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday detectives are processing a Rock Springs residence for evidence.

The Rock Springs Rocket-Miner reports Ben Bradley, then 28, was traveling from his home in Tabernash, Colorado, to Jackson on a snowboarding outing when he disappeared in the Rock Springs area on the night of June 2, 2006.

His body was found about four months later about 25 miles north of Rock Springs. An autopsy determined the cause of death was multiple stab wounds to the chest area, according to a press release.
