Over 3,000 pounds of food donated at State Fair
Local News 8 Day at the Eastern Idaho State Fair was a big success.
Blackfoot Community Pantry director Ronda Cheatham said over 3,000 pounds of food were brought to the fair Wednesday.
The Fair accepted donations in exchange for a $3 reduction in entrance charges until 1 p.m.
Thursday is KIDK Eyewitness News Day at the Fair. In similar fashion, anyone making a donation of school supplies will receive a $3 reduction in the Fair admission cost until 1 p.m.
