Single vehicle rollover caused by sleepy driver

The Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash westbound on US Highway 20 near milepost 312, north of Idaho Falls around 7:31 a.m. Friday.

According to police, 19-year-old Jared S. Martin of Honesdale, PA, was driving a 2014 Subaru station wagon when he fell asleep, and the vehicle to drifted off the roadway.

Officials report the vehicle hit the guardrail, went through the median, rolled and came to rest on its side.

Martin and his passenger 18-year-old Erika F. Bates of Hawley, PA, were wearing seatbelts.
