Osgood Interchange ramp reconstruction begins September 11

The Idaho Transportation Department will begin reconstructing three ramps at the Interstate 15, Osgood Interchange (Exit 128) north of Idaho Falls starting Monday, September 11.

The project includes replacing the northbound on-ramp and both southbound ramps, realigning the ramps to improve sight distance and upgrading the guardrail.

The speed limit on I-15 will be reduced to 65 mph, and shoulders will be restricted.

The project will last approximately six weeks.

ITD reports other traffic impacts will include a three-week closure of the northbound I-15 on-ramp beginning Wednesday, September 13. Traffic will be detoured to the I-15 interchange in Roberts during the closure.
