Crash blocks northbound I-15
An overturned truck stopped northbound Interstate-15 traffic near Spencer Monday afternoon.
“Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle injury crash on Interstate 15, near mile post 183, in Clark County.
Vladimir Rukavishnikov, 60, of Lexington, KY, was driving northbound on I15 in a 2007 Peterbilt, pulling one trailer. Rukavishnikov drove off the right shoulder, back onto I15, overcorrected, drove into the median, and then back onto northbound I15 where it overturned and came to rest. Rukavishnikov was wearing a seatbelt.
The northbound lanes of travel were completely blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
Rukavishnikov was transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, ID.” ISP relased in a statement.
