Downey shooting victim identified
The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office has identified Joseph Lloyd as the person who was shot to death at a Downey area residence early Friday.
The Sheriff’s Office said their investigation determined Lloyd was attempting to force entrance into the home at around 4:12 a.m. Friday. He was confronted and shot at the scene. Further details, including the name of the homeowner, were not released.
The Sheriff’s Office said it considered the shooting an isolated incident.
No charges have been filed.
