Seven file for Pocatello Mayor’s post
Seven people, including incumbent Brian Blad, have filed petitions to run for Mayor of Pocatello in the November municipal elections.
The rest of the field includes Tammy Bartlett, Chad Horst, Jamie Hudson, Sam Laoboonmi, Paul Shepard, and S Idaho Lorax Carta.
Three city council seats are also up for election this year.
In Seat #4, incumbent Heidi Adamson will face a challenge from Danny Wells.
In Seat #5, Linda Leeurwrik and Michael Orr have filed.
And, in Seat #6, the ballot will include Richard “Rick” Cheatum, Debodeep “Sanju” Choudhury, Steven Conway, and Elton Zundel.
People have until October 10 to file the necessary paperwork to be considered a valid write-in candidate during the November election.
