Pocatello man to be sentenced on child pornography charges
Craig Marshall Grayson, 30, of Pocatello, faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to transportation of child pornography.
Grayson was indicted by a federal grand jury in Pocatello on February 28, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Rafael Gonzalez.
Law enforcement agents downloaded four sexually exploitive videos of a minor from a man later identified as Grayson between July 5 and August 12, 2016, according to a plea agreement. A search of Grayson’s home and computer devices revealed his additional possession of approximately 978 images and 65 videos of child pornography.
The charge of transportation of child pornography is punishable by at least five, and up to 20 years in prison, a maximum fine of $250,000 and five years and up to a life term of supervised release.
Grayson will appear for sentencing before U.S. District Judge David C. Nye on November 27.
The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations and the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
