Woman arrested for eluding police
Caitlin Rea Marie Eagle, 27, faces charges of driving under the influence and eluding police after two brief chases Tuesday.
Pocatello Police said they attempted to stop Eagle in the area of Quinn and Hurley Streets after she was reported as operating a vehicle under the influence.
Eagle failed to yield to emergency lights and sirens and continued onto Interstate 86, where police stopped their chase.
She was located by Bannock County Sheriff’s Office deputies a short time later on Satterfield, where another pursuit began.
Police took Eagle into custody after her vehicle struck a curb, damaged a tire, and made the vehicle inoperable.
