Volunteers needed for 2017 Haunted Science Lab

Volunteers are needed for the 2017 Haunted Science Lab at the Pine Ridge Mall in Chubbuck (across from the southern entrance, just north of CAL Ranch).

For the last six years, the ISU Society of Physics Students, the Kiwanis Club of Pocatello and ISU Physics have hosted the Haunted Science Laboratory for free for local school field trips, and they need additional help this year.

Setup and preparations for the exhibits will occur during a two-week period starting Saturday, October 7 to October 22.

School field trips will be October 23 – 27, and the exhibits will be open to the public for a fee on Saturday, October 28, and on Sunday, October 29.

Proceeds from the public events will go to Kiwanis-supported charities for children.

To volunteer or for more information, contact Steve Shropshire, program director of ISU physics, at 208-282-2212 or shrostev@isu.edu.
