Reed’s Dairy expands to the Treasure Valley
Idaho Falls-based Reed’s Dairy has opened a new retail store in Meridian.
Reed’s, which was once named the “best ice cream in Idaho” opened at 1735 W. Chinden Blvd. in a strip mall in Meridian.
Ice cream products will be produced at the Idaho Falls dairy and will feature 24 flavors daily. Those will rotate with 49 flavors Reed’s makes available nationwide via mail order.
The Treasure Valley store became a reality when Reed’s acquired the local home-delivery service “Boise Milk,” which was a former customer, according to Reed’s Dairy President Alan Reed.
Reed’s plans to open at least two more ice cream shops in the Treasure Valley. The second will open in either Kuna or Meridian as early as next summer.
