Detailed Forecast For Oct 11th

A cold trough of low pressure will dip into region over the next couple of days. Expect gusty winds with temps in the 60’s today, then much cooler temperatures for Thursday. However, most of the moisture associated with this system will move to the north of east Idaho tonight and into tomorrow. There is a threat of some light snow showers in the Central Mountains and near the Divide for tonight. Cold air moves in behind the trough, dropping highs into the 40’s and 50’s for the rest of the week . Snow and rain showers expected with a larger system that will start moving into our area by Friday.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 60’s and breezy.

Thursday: Sunny with highs into the lower 50’s.

Friday: Breezy with increasing clouds with rain and snow showers late, and highs into the low 50’s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a 20% chance of snow/rain showers in the morning. Highs into the mid to upper 40’s.

Sunday: Sunny, with highs into the upper 40’s and low 50’s.
