Regional airports receive federal grant awards

The Federal Aviation Administration has awarded $37 million in grants to Idaho airports under the Airport Improvement Program.

Idaho Falls Regional Airport will receive $7,813,597 to rehabilitate the taxiway and install guidance signs.

Pocatello Regional Airport will receive $998,437 for runway rehabilitation and to help acquire snow removal equipment.

The Idaho Division of Aeronautics has provided an additional $1 million in funding to help airports meet matching fund obligations as part of the FAA funding.
