Free flu vaccine clinics scheduled for uninsured individuals
Eastern Idaho Public Health (EIPH) will be providing free flu vaccine to uninsured individuals during scheduled flu clinics on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last. The scheduled clinics for Bonneville County are:
Idaho Falls (1250 Hollipark Drive) ▪ October 24 ▪ 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Idaho Falls (1250 Hollipark Drive) ▪ October 26 ▪ 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
People with insurance are also welcome to attend these clinics as EIPH bills most medical insurance, Medicare and Medicaid.
After the clinics, flu vaccine for uninsured people will cost $20.00.
There is also a clinic in Pocatello at the Pocatello Free Clinic (429 Washington) on Wednesday, October 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
EIPH reminds you the flu is contagious before symptoms start, so practicing good hygiene at all times can help prevent its spread. EIPH recommends you:
