Female grizzly bear relocated
Wyoming Game and Fish personnel have trapped and relocated a sub-adult female grizzly bear Tuesday. Officials took the action in an effort to avoid future conflicts.
The bear was captured after it developed the habit of frequenting developed sites near the Pat O’Hara creek drainage north of Cody, Wyoming.
In cooperation with the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, the bear was relocated to the Snake River drainage about 25 miles northwest of Moran Junction, Wyoming. The area is currently occupied grizzly bear habitat.
