DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to American Falls

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) awarded the city of American Falls in Power County a $20,000 drinking water planning grant.

DEQ reports the funds will be used to prepare a planning document to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.

The total eligible cost of the project is $40,000.

The remaining $20,000 will be funded by the city of American Falls.
