Idaho Falls police catch a local grinch

UPDATE: 12/5/17 8:43 P.M.:

Nocolle L. Lockyer and Eduardo Anguano-Gonzalez have been arrested by Idaho Falls Police.

Lockyer and Anguano-Gonzalez were arrested for grand theft and possession of narcotics.

Anguano-Gonzalez had three warrants out for his arrest.

Lockyer and Anguano-Gonzalez were first seen on Vesta and were traveling to Linda in Idaho Falls before they were arrested.

Idaho Falls Police tells Local News 8 and KIDK Eyewitness news there are seven to 10 victims affected by the string of package thefts.

Police are delivering the packages back to the victims.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Law enforcement has two people in custody after finding about two dozen stolen Christmas packages.

Dispatch received a call about 4:30 p.m. from citizens watch after they saw some suspicious activity from the two people wandering around a neighborhood.

Citizen’s watch believed they were taking packages off porches.

A state trooper arrived and pulled over the suspects as they were driving off.

The names have not been released yet, and the suspects are still being questioned.
