Semi-trailer hits bridge in front of Ammon Walmart
Traffic was backed up Thursday afternoon near the Ammon Walmart after a semi-truck driver took a turn too tightly.
According to Bonneville County Sheriff’s Deputy, David Schwartz, the driver of a Walmart semi-truck was making a right turn from Hitt Road into the Walmart parking lot.
The rear tires of the trailer caught part of a bridge, since the driver didn’t make the turn wide enough.
Part of the bridge was destroyed.
The accident also destroyed the rear axle and blew off a tire.
No one was hurt.
