UPDATE: Preston Police Department identify shoplifter
UPDATE 12/15/17 7:00 p.m.: Preston police have positively identified the woman in the photos thanks to help from people who saw the photos on social media and called in. Police are still working to locate and speak with her so her name has not yet been released.
No official charges have been filed at this time, but the investigation is still ongoing. Police say they will know more once they locate her.
Police say the woman stole about $300 worth of various products, like makeup and medicinal supplies, from Stokes Marketplace earlier in the week.
Police want to thank the public for their help and quick response.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Preston Police Department is asking for help to identify the woman in the surveillance photo.
According to police, she is the suspect of a shoplifting incident at Stokes Marketplace.
