Police seekbomb threat suspect with Jackson connections
Jackson Police have issued arrest warrants for Kreighton Kilgore, 33, a former resident of the Jackson area. Kilgore is a suspect in a series of bomb threats in Jackson, Wyoming and Colorado.
The Teton County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call from the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado at 7:54 p.m. Tuesday. They received a bomb threat from a suspect who indicated he had explosives he had obtained from the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton County, Wyoming.
Over the course of the next few hours, additional bomb threats and false reports of emergencies were called in to authorities in Natrona County and Teton County, Wyoming. Threatening calls were also received by private citizens in the Casper area and Teton County.
Teton County Detective Sergeant Todd Stanyon said Kilgore is well known to local authorities and is suspected of making similar threats against locations in Jackson in January. Those threats led to active arrest warrants being issued for Kilgore for making Terroristic Threats.
The threats are not considered to be credible. Kilgore is not believed to be in the regional area and not in the state of Wyoming. A number of law enforcement agencies are investigating and additional charges may be filed in those communities.
